Career Advice For Landing An Advertising Job

These skill sets include communication, organizational skills and analytical skills. Other skills that people need to have to work in advertising are passion. Like with most jobs a worker should have a passion for their work.
Having some knowledge of the advertising field other than just commercials, ads and internet banners is a must. Having good writing skills is key as you will be working in teams and will need to communicate not only verbally but written as well. Prior work experience is always important in making you stand out; holding a place of leadership and authority in your last job shows the interviewer you have the ability to lead a team.
Working in an internship, will not only give you on the job training but it will also give you experience which agencies are looking for. If you have graduated from a college; try networking with other alumni who work in advertising. Some advertising agencies give incentives to their employees if they hire someone who was referred
